The company is owned and operated by Ashley Larson, a 10+ year industry vet who knows a thing or two about planning your big day. With a determination to create perfection, an unwavering commitment to create unique experiences, and with a devoted team of creative professionals, Ashley produces flawlessly executed events. Each event is unique and different. She strives to break the mold and push beyond the norm. Being different is her strength and a reason clients love working with her. How did you enter into the hospitality industry?
After graduating in London where I received a Masters in International Marketing and Project Management, I worked as an Event Sales Manager for a DMC at a major resort in San Antonio, TX. When we moved to Upstate, NY I opened my own event planning business and focused strictly on planning social events and weddings. We moved to Nashville in April of 2021. I rebranded my planning business and here we are!
What brought you to Nashville?
My husband is a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army. We moved to Nashville in April of 2021, purchased a home, and are hoping this is where we'll settle down. We love it here!
Where are we likely to find you on the weekends or when you aren't working?
On February 10th, I welcomed a beautiful baby girl so whenever I'm not working I'm spending time with her and my family. You might find us hiking, going on walks, or relaxing by the pool because man, it is hot down here in the summer!
Name 3 things you cannot live without
Chapstick (you'll NEVER find me without Chapstick, ha!), my family (including our fur baby, Leo), Coffee (it's my fuel)
What is the best advice you have received?
Little tweaks make big changes.
What are you currently listening to? Podcast? Favorite song that motivates you?
Podcast, The Ed Mylett Show - he is an amazing motivational speaker and just lights the fire under me. I can't listen to an episode and not be motivated to get after my goals.
What are some career highlights and biggest career accomplishments?
My first year in business I made it into a printed publication! Since then, I've been featured in 2 more print publications and at least 10 other digital publications. In 2020 when the pandemic hit, I gathered industry friends and we organized Mini Adventure Elopements and partnered with four different venues. These were all-inclusive mini weddings for couples who had to postpone or worse, cancel their wedding due to COVID. We vendors significantly decreased our rates to provide an affordable alterative for these couple's while adhering to government mandates. It was a very rewarding experience to give back to the community, not just to couples but also supporting businesses in the industry. In 2021, I launched the Planner in a Box, an all-inclusive planning experience for the DIY bride!
What would surprise us about yourself?
I'm an identical twin!
