Whether that’s the story of your new business, your new chapter in life, or your love story, she create thoughtful, professional, and most importantly beautiful images to show your story to the world. How did you enter into the hospitality industry?
I studied photography in college and developed a love for taking pictures of women that made them feel beautiful and powerful. When I started my business, I focused on weddings because you cannot find a more beautiful day! From there, I was introduced to the community of the hospitality industry and the incredible, sweet, and supportive people who work to build amazing events!
What is one thing a person should consider when interviewing or looking to hire a photographer?
When interviewing a photographer, communication is essential. Make sure they are responsive, open to your ideas, and as excited as you are about your event or business or whatever they are photographing! Their enthusiasm for you will show through in their work and in their communication with you. Good photographers are observant; great photographers are great listeners too!
What brought you to Nashville?
I'm originally from North Carolina, but I moved to Nashville 5 years ago from NYC. We were looking for a city with a big city feel, but all the charm and hospitality that we missed from the south! Nashville has been a wonderful fit and we love it here!
Where are we likely to find you on the weekends or when you aren't working?
On the weekends when I'm not working, you can find me in the garden growing veggies or in the kitchen cooking those veggies! Now, when its too cold for life outside, you can find me knee-deep in a DYI project or under a blanket with a silly book to read and a cat on my lap!
