Electrify Your Career

Our last luncheon of the quarter for the Nashville Chapter was “Lit”, pun intended. 😜

The Electric Jane was the perfect location to host us for our “Electrify Your Career.” If you haven’t been to this swanky restaurant/club add this to your list, now! We sold out this event, having the entire venue to ourselves. Our attendees were spoiled with the delicious lunch buffet and an exclusive look at the beautiful R1S Rivian.

We had the honor of learning from three different thought leaders on how they amplified their careers. Panelists included: April Britt, MBA, SPHR, Brittany N. Cole, Lauren Makk and Megan Feeman. This conversation was facilitated by the witty, smart, and brilliant storyteller Amanda Phillips.

The panelists offered a jolt of reality, sharing with us lessons they have learned throughout their career, and stories they have never shared before.

Recap from our speakers:
Negotiate when the offer is made.

Never second guess yourself.

Let your voice be heard.

Trust the ones you've trained and let give them space to shine.

The Business can only grow as fast and far as the leaders do.

When you want to advance, make sure leadership knows.
When you invest in yourself, it's a deposit not a withdrawal.

It doesn't matter what brand of pants you wear, it's more about the person wearing them and being your authentic self.

Attendees had the chance to connect with like-minded professionals, potential mentors, and industry leaders. As women continue to break barriers and redefine success, events like these play a crucial role in fostering a community of empowered and successful female leaders.

This meeting wouldn’t have been possible without the following partners.

But wait, that’s not all! Our attendees were beyond gracious with their donations to The Aloe Family Group, helping them reach their goal of raising $2k to build an entrepreneurship center in a small town in Mexico for women in the community to work and develip their businesses.

If you want to surround yourself with women who would drop your name in a room full of opportunities, we would love for you to join our membership and community. To view the three different levels of membership, click here.
