Networking on Steroids

We had such a blast hosting our inaugural Speed Networking Event at The Fulton West for our Chicago Chapter. Yes, you heard that right… Speed Networking. Think speed dating, but for women in business to connect.

We had an attorney, an Officiant, a Mindset coach, a Financial Adviser, an AV Company, a Recruiter, a Med Spa Owner, a Photographer, Florist, a Social Media Agency, A DMC, and a Luxury transportation company. All women-owned or operated. There was such a wide range of different sectors represented at the meeting.

Now, we call this event our Extrovert’s Super Bowl but we know our introvert’s enjoyed this fast-paced and high-energy event to meet 50 women in one hour. In a normal format for our monthly meetings, we encourage women to find out about the person. Not about what they do for a living as we are not our business or career. We are more than our titles. However; in this format, we got right down to the nitty-gritty.

The women had (12) five-minute intervals to answer 4 questions: Name, Company, Who is an ideal client and one personal question from the cards, Big Talk. All of the women walked away with fruitful connections and were eager to participate in this fun and high-energy event.

In Honor of Women’s History Month, we strategically decided to work with all female owners. But, if we are being honest… we typically work with woman-owned and operated vendors every month, not just March ;)
