New Year, New Connections
We had another great turnout for our monthly meeting!
We went to Emerson Hall, a modern event space located in East Nashville. The venue was restored in 2021, they took the sanctuary of a 1930’s-era church down the bones before completely renovating.
We brought in our members, Curated Events to show off their Loraine China, almond stacking chairs and their new Aspen Chairs. If you missed this meeting but would like to schedule a site visit, you can reach out to their Director of Events, Marsha Martino: marsha@fatbottombrewing.com
Thank you to partners in design Curated Events and Emerson Hall and photos were provided by the talented team over at Details Nashville.
S.T.R.U.T Time
If you are new to Heels & Handshakes, we ask our members to share a S.T.R.U.T. at our monthly meetings.
S.T.R.U.T. stands for: “Share, Teach, Recognize, Uplift and Toot your own horn.”
As women, we tend not to convey our achievements as fear of “bragging” or we don’t share because it feels uncomfortable. This practice gives our members a permission slip to share their wins and gives them confidence to do so.
Not only do we practice sharing S.T.R.U.T.S at every meeting we also acknowledge and honor our members at our Annual Galentine’s Day Awards. This year, the Awards will be held on February 9th at the Grand Hyatt. Tickets will be release to Members first as part of their membership and then open to the public two weeks later here.
