Heels & Handshakes Meet A Member- Scott Hinds

We had the lovely honor or getting to know one of our newest Allies & Bowties member, Scott Hinds with Findaband. Findaband is a live entertainment booking agency created by two professional musicians with a deep passion and lifelong commitment to music. Since 2008, they have focused on quality over quantity, and building strong relationships with their artists and clients.

How did you enter into the Hospitality industry? 

I've been a working musician for 20 years and a professional booking agent for 5.

What Brought you to Nashville?

I grew up in Knoxville and moved to Las Vegas to be in a show for three years. After Vegas, Nashville was the next logical step because it was my home state and it was an entertainment town where I could get work.

Where are we likely to find you on the weekends or when you aren't working? This year, quarantining at home when I'm not playing. But prior to covid, I'd go out and see other bands, but was playing gigs very often.

Name 3 things you cannot live without? 

My wife, performance, and adventure.

What is the best advice you have received? 

If you want your band to work with a third party, you have to craft a band/show worth working with.

What are you currently listening to? Podcast? Favorite song that motivates you? I'm currently listening to the biography of Jerry Lee Lewis. My favorite album is "Grace" by Jeff Buckley.
