2024 Galentines

It’s no secret, that we take Galentine’s Day pretty seriously over here. Some may call this our Super Bowl. If you want to peep our past celebrations, click here.

The Nashville Chapter hosted its fourth annual Galentines Day Celebration last week and it was a huge success. The meeting sold out within two weeks of being on sale and our Keynote Speaker, Tissa Richards, blew everyone away receiving a standing ovation from the audience.

We book our event venues a year out, so I found it very kismet that the venue that hosted us was called Riverside Revival considering the topic of the program. The word “Revival” comes directly from the Latin word revivere which is translated “to live again.” The word “Revival” means restoration to life, consciousness, vigor and strength. An improvement in the condition or strength of something.

After hearing from our speaker, I have no doubt that our attendees will be able to improve their confidence and step into their strength to find their voice to advance their careers.

Tissa spoke about “throwing the keys on the table.” You don’t need any fancy tools, PowerPoint or handouts at meetings. “YOU” are the tool.

She also mentioned that “If you don’t believe in yourself, why would anyone else.” She left our members and guests with practical and tactical tools to help them with their elevator pitches, turning down tasks that don’t align with their strengths and key steps to create catalyst statements. We only had an hour to learn from Tissa, but we could have listened to her for another two hours. I highly recommend hiring Tissa to speak to your team or organization.

Not only do we bring women in business together, but we highlight women in business too. This month, we had the privilege of hosting five activations and highlighting Kaylyn Harris, 2024 Woman of Impact Nominee for the American Heart Association.

Activations included shopping with female-owned boutique Living Golden, a female-owned self-care planner, Nine to Kind, delicious cotton candy provided by Twisted For Sugar, a Fun Photo Booth provided by Nashville Photo Booth, and a chance to get permanent jewelry provided by the Spark Collection.

Rivian was our Strategic Partner and Presenter for this Program providing attendees with a chance to participate in ridealongs and test drive their new SUV.

All of the Attendees received a copy of our Tissa’s book, No Permission. If you were unable to attend and would like to order her book, we have linked the book for you to purchase.

This meeting wouldn’t have been possible without our partners:
